Calling in communityMark your calendars. The first installment of our new monthly series, Hollers & Horizons Appalachian Town Halls, convenes one week from today on Monday, January 26 from 5-6:30 p.m. ET. What you can expect:
This month, Appalachian Psychedelic Society co-founders Justin Moore and Ali McGhee will take the stage to share what we're up to and envisioning for the year ahead, including special sneak peeks of several new initiatives and opportunities that put our region front and center. How to join us:We've created an affordable, subscription-based model that allows us to offer you the best programming while helping us sustain the series. $8/month gives you access to all Hollers & Horizons Town Halls (live and recording), as well as our Appalachian Psychedelic Historical Timeline and Policy Report – two education resources we've been pouring our hearts and minds into that will be shared after the Town Hall.
We're honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr., today, and learning more about his visit to Tennessee and Highlander Folk School in 1957, when he was just 28 years old. Rosa Parks and Rev. Ralph Abernathy were in attendance as King spoke about the need for activism, the dangers of reactionary forces, and, ultimately, hope for the future. We're sharing in that vision of access, equity, and community-driven paths forward. We can't wait to see you Monday. – Ali & Justin |

In spite of the immense changes wrought by the storm, we started this year with optimism, feeling into our own resilience as Appalachians. We also vowed to connect more...
We’ve been hearing from many of you that you want more consistent, grounded conversations about psychedelics rooted in Appalachian voices and lived experience. What does that look like? We're also launching our new monthly series, Hollers & Horizons Appalachian Town Hall on Psychedelics. On the first Monday of every month, we'll come...
