Jessica Allen's Christmas MiracleJessica Allen is our next speaker for Hollers & Horizons, happening tomorrow (Monday, Feb. 23) from 5-6:30 p.m. ET. Jessica's incredible story of her ibogaine experiences and their profound impact on her recovery journey is live now on the podcast (available on any podcast platform – and you can watch it here on YouTube). She talks with Justin about how she first heard about ibogaine, the support from her family and challenges of returning home, the cultural openness towards alternative treatments in Appalachia, and ibogaine's future in treating addiction. Christmas Eve 2008, long before ibogaine was in the headlines, was her first ibogaine journey – and yes, Santa Claus does make an appearance. We're so excited to talk more with Jessica and bring her to our community this month. If you haven't been to a Hollers & Horizons Town Hall yet, you can expect grounded conversations on science, culture, public safety, and lived experience in Appalachia, informed by a regional leader. Register below to claim your seat at our Appalachian table.

In spite of the immense changes wrought by the storm, we started this year with optimism, feeling into our own resilience as Appalachians. We also vowed to connect more...
